CARLOTTAS VILLAGE designs and manufactures high quality eyewear. We use only the best raw materials.
For our acetate line this means mainly Italian materials working closely with our acetate suppliers to develop our own unique Carlottas Village patterns and colours. As we know that our customers take notice of our choises in colours and patterns. The delicate silky finish comes from long term tumbling with small wooden pellets followed up by the final hand made polishingo of each frame.
The design process begins with taking Charlotte´s hand drawn sketches through our 3D-prototyping framework ending up with hand made prototypes in every colour. This is to be quite sure that every detail has been closely evaluated before we launch a model.
Our TITANIUM frames are made of pure block titanium to give you the best quality available on the market. It is extremely stabile, nonallergenic and - not least important - also a beautiful material. The titanium collection pays it´s respects to the minimalistic Scandinavian design tradition, brought to actuality by the use of distinguished colours and raw industrial looking shapes and finishes. Some of the styles have acetate temples for a softer image. We like to cut some of the titanium frames with a “garageish” industrial look.
